Terms of use

By using Freezeline you accept these terms. Freezeline is free, and these terms are short and fair.

The service

Freezeline is a free service with no signup, provided “as is”. It gives general information to help you act quickly after a phone theft or fraud. It is not advice about your situation — please read the important information, which forms part of these terms.

Accuracy and availability

We take reasonable care to keep the information accurate and the site available, but we can’t promise it is complete, current, uninterrupted or error-free. Phone numbers and procedures change — always check a number on the organisation’s own official website before you call.

Links to other websites

Where we link to banks, networks, the police and other organisations, those sites are outside our control and we’re not responsible for their content or availability. We link to them only to help you reach the right place.

Our responsibility to you

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss arising from relying on this general information without checking it independently. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law.

Donations

Donations are voluntary gifts that help keep Freezeline free — they are not payment for a service. Freezeline is not a registered charity. Donations are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise; if you donate by mistake, email hello@freezeline.co.uk and we’ll try to help. (Donations are not collected yet; this section applies once they go live.)

Acceptable use

Please use Freezeline only for its purpose — helping you or someone you’re assisting respond to phone theft or fraud — and don’t attempt to disrupt, misuse or damage the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

Operator and contact

Freezeline is an independent service, run under the name Freezeline. Contact us at hello@freezeline.co.uk.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page is the current one.
